Ruby Soho x Fem!Reader and “ I think of her so much, it drives me crazy.” ?
Can't stop || Ruby Soho x Reader
Summary: You overhear Ruby talking to Saraya about you.
A/N: My heart is doing backflips I love this so much.
Tumblr media
The faint hum of conversation echoed in the hallway, and as you passed by, the familiar voices of Ruby Soho and Saraya filled the air. Unable to resist the temptation, you slowed your pace, unintentionally eavesdropping on their exchange.
"I can't stop thinking about her, Raya. It's like... it's like she's taken residence in my mind, and I can't evict her. I think of her so much it drives me crazy" Ruby's voice carried a mixture of frustration and a hint of vulnerability.
Saraya chuckled softly, a knowing tone in her response, "Sounds like you've got it bad, babe. But that's not necessarily a bad thing, is it?"
Ruby sighed, the sound a blend of exasperation and fondness, "No, it's not bad. It's just... I've never felt like this before. I catch myself daydreaming about her, imagining moments that haven't even happened. It's like my mind has a life of its own."
You, standing just around the corner, couldn't help but feel a rush of warmth at Ruby's words. Your heart quickened, and a smile tugged at your lips.
Saraya's voice, teasing and wise, floated back to you, "You're in deep, Ruby. But from the way you're talking, it seems like you're enjoying the fall."
Ruby let out a soft, almost sheepish laugh, "Enjoying might be an understatement. It's like every little thing about her is etched in my memory. The way she smiles, the sound of her laughter, the way she looks when she's lost in thought."
Saraya's response held a gentle encouragement, "Maybe it's time to tell her, Ruby. Sounds like she's become a pretty important part of your world."
Ruby paused, a moment of contemplative silence, and then she spoke, her words filled with a quiet determination, "You're right, Saraya. I think it's time."
As their conversation continued, you couldn't help but feel a warmth spreading through you. Ruby Soho, the vibrant force of nature, was confessing thoughts that mirrored your own. It was a beautiful revelation, and as you continued down the hallway, you couldn't suppress the grin that lit up your face.
The next time you met Ruby, there was a newfound awareness in her eyes, a depth of feeling that spoke volumes. And in that shared understanding, a beautiful journey began, colored by the echoes of a conversation overheard but destined to be spoken in person.

forever and a day
ruby soho x reader
psa::: this is my first fic so please take it easy on me!
Sweat trickled down my face. “God i’m so nervous” i thought to myself. my head was running at a million miles a minute. “is she okay? did she change her mind? oh god, was my mother right about me?” my mind wouldn’t slow down. suddenly a hand was placed on my shoulder. “calm down, everything is gonna be just fine y/n” my best friend whispered in my ear. i breathed out. before i could respond, her music hit. not her typical rancid them, oh no. this was a different kind of day. this song was the song i fell in love with her to. this was the song that played in my truck the night she kissed me for the first time. memories filled my mind of everything we have been through. Sarah guided Cash down the isles, he was our ring bearer. not for behind him was my niece throwing flowers. and as soon as everyone was in place. here she came. in that beautiful white dress that fit her perfectly. god she’s beautiful. the tears start to trickle from my eyes. i try to fight them but i know i cannot. all the memories of us flashing though my mind. god, i can’t believe im marrying her. once she gets to the end of the isle her father places her hand in mine. “you take care of my little girl. okay?” he said to me. “ you know i sure will” i told him. he walked off and she turned to look at me. “oh baby, don’t cry my love!” she said as she wiped my tears. i grinned as my cheeks heated up. “you just look so beautiful” i whispered as she wiped my cheeks with her surprisingly soft hands. as our song came to an end. we turned to listen to the reverend. after a long string of words and agreements that could never fully express the love i held in my heart for her. we were officially woman and wife, and i kissed the love of my life. then her song hit, yes her wrestling theme. because it was more than just an intro to her. plus it made a bomb ass walk out song. i picked her up bridal style and i ran out that room. once those barn doors closed behind us. i sat her in her two feet. i looked her in the eyes as she looked in mine. “i love you dori. i love you as long as the sun burns bright. hell, i’ll love you forever and a day.” i said to her. tears streaming down both our faces. the look in her truly sincere eyes told me everything. i kissed her. and i began to ponder our future. damn, im excited for this forever.

Coming Out To Ruby Riott (Ruby X Reader Short Fic)
You and Ruby have been friends for a while now and soon it marks your 3 year friendship anniversary.
You are close to her and tell her almost all your secrets, almost all except one major thing!
You can’t hold it in anymore, you know that Ruby will most likely be fine with it but there’s no denying that you are scared!
One day you and Ruby are sitting on the couch having a good time, talking and laughing like you usually do. Suddenly, you go all serious and Ruby takes notice.
“What’s wrong y/n?” You look down as your lip quivers a bit. You sigh before speaking, “I know we’ve been friends for 3 years now and I tell you almost everything about me but...” You go silent.
“Okay, but what, is there something else?” Ruby asks. You can feel your hands sweat a bit and you bite your lip trying not to cry. “Seriously babe, you can tell me anything, you know that.” Ruby says.
“I know but this hard, really hard in fact.” You reply. Ruby reaches for your hand and holds it. “I’m gonna love you no matter what.” She says.
Your eyes fill up with tears and you get a bit choked up. “It’s just, I’m....I’m..scared.” You chicken out for a moment.
Ruby leans down and kisses the top of your hand. “Come on y/n, I don’t bite, you can tell me.”
You sigh, “It’s just, I’m gay!” Ruby gives you the biggest smile ever and then pulls you into a hug. “You are, well I think that’s great!”
You look a bit shocked, “You do?”
“Don’t tell me after this many years you didn’t think I supported the LGBTQ community, you know I do.” Ruby smiles. You grin, “I know but this is me, your good friend not some random person.”
“Oh my gosh babe, seriously?” Ruby looks at you. “I love you and I’m glad you shared this with me.”
You breathe a sigh of relief as you hug Ruby tight. “I love you so much and I didn’t wanna lose you as a friend.” Ruby rubs your back, “It would take a lot more than that to lose me.”

Team Liv Wild (Liv Morgan/Reader)
You had wanted nothing more since you were a teenager than to be a wrestler. There had been so much in your life you’d missed out on because you were too busy trying to create chances for yourself. That’s why when you were accepted onto the WWE Smackdown roster, you were elated. There was so much experience and talent on that roster that you’d be learning so much from all of your matches. Since you’d skipped NXT on your way up, you were being paired with a wrestler who had experience, but would also work with the persona you’d built for yourself fairly well, Liv Morgan.
Never in your entire life had you been so nervous to meet somebody before. Luckily, your meeting with Liv went well, even if you had a blush the entire time and you’d get flustered when she complimented or touched you. After your initial meeting, you talked over the gimmick that you’d been emailed about from Stephanie McMahon. Liv was known for being fun, playful, and childlike, and she wanted you to be like the more dangerous side to that, primal and wild. You had an energy that crowds tended to feed off of with your wrestling and in-ring personality. You trained together for a couple of months and were set up to lose your first six matches, which, despite it being scripted, was still absolutely devastating to you. As you continued to lose, people began to notice how upset you were getting over it.
“Chin up babe,” Peyton Royce said, wrapping her arm around your shoulders. “We’ve lost a lot of matches too. Eventually you’ll have a belt around your waist love, I promise.”
“I was so excited to be part of this and it’s like they just want me as a joke,” you said sadly, not meeting her eyes. “Why would they hire somebody like me anyways?”
"Because the crowds love you. I’ve seen more Team Liv Wild shirts lately than anything else honestly. The fans aren’t the only ones who are starting to really love you,” Peyton said, glancing over at Liv. It was no big secret that you were in love with your tag team partner, but you couldn’t really act on it. Liv was, as far as you knew, straight, which ruled you out of her dating pool.
“She’s not into me like that Peyton,” you argued and Peyton sighed. “I’ve got to go practice for our match against the Riott Squad. I think this time it’s gonna be loss by submission.”
“Chin up babe, one day you’ll be above all of us,” Peyton promised and you shrugged. You didn’t believe it, if you got a championship, it’d be a brief one, taken away from you at the first possible chance. You met Liv at the gym, where she was talking with Ruby and Sarah, her former tag team partners.
“Hi, I don’t think we’ve properly met yet,” Ruby said, holding out her hand. You were introduced to them before you got ready for the rehearsal. You worked well with them, everything, including submission, going by smoothly. You did a little promo work for before the match and then you drove Liv home. This was the routine up until the day of your match. The promo in the beginning went well and then you came out with Liv, who had an extra little pep in her step, probably trying to make up for your new lack of enthusiasm. Honestly, you were about one more loss away from quitting at this point.
“We got this,” Liv said as you prepared to start the match. You’d go for a bit, tag in Liv, save her from a pinfall, and then get submitted. Everything had went according to plan up until you were about to get submitted. Ruby was working you into the position when Liv began to lead the crowd in a chant. “Liv Wild!”
“Liv Wild!” The crowd began to chant as Liv tagged herself in. You scrambled out of the ring and onto the side. You watched in confusion as the match did a 180. Liv flew from the top rope and pinned Ruby for the 3 count before jogging over to you and pulling you into the ring. As the crowd continued to chant, she pulled you down for a quick kiss. You were dazed until you got back to the locker room, where everybody else was waiting for you.
“Are you okay?” Mandy Rose asked, noticing how spaced you seemed to be. “Winning feels pretty damn good doesn’t it?”
“Liv kissed me,” you muttered before turning over to Liv. “Why’d you kiss me?”
“Sometimes you’ve gotta just live wild I guess,” Liv chuckled and you heard Becky laugh from behind you. “What okay with you?”
“Perfect,” you said, leaning in to kiss her again.

The Commentator’s Secret (Charlotte Flair x Reader)
Tumblr media
Anonymous Request:  I was just wondering about any time in the future could you write a charlotte x G!P reader?? Crazily get if its not your thing no bother, I also know you're suuuuper busy so theres no need to answer to this ask! thank you for all the stories though
Now, this fic is going to be a LITTLE different than most gp stories, I went for a more emotional fic for the first time around.
A part 2 to this is ALREADY planned, and I’m already working on it, so the long won’t be TOO long.
I just think that a story like this needs to be handled in a way that is of no offense to anyone AND takes a situation that I’ve only ever seen people write as sexual, and change it to something more emotional.
PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK. FEEDBACK ON THIS ONE IS REALLY IMPORTANT TO ME!
Charlotte hums as you strut past her backstage, the woman’s eyes on you as you stare at the paper in your hands, completely enthralled by whatever is written on it.
She flips around shamelessly ogling you as you walk away.
“Yer drooling.”
Charlotte jumps at the sound of her best friend, Becky Lynch’s voice, the blonde rolling her eyes.
“Shut up.” She growls, turning back towards you, unfortunately realizing that you’re out of sight.
“She’s gone.”
Charlotte turns to her best friend with a glare.
“I can tell.” She grumbles, the Irishwoman snickering as she chases after the blonde.
“Ya can’t get rid of me dat easy.” Becky catches up with her, the tall blonde throwing her arm around her friend’s shoulders.
“Yer just mad because ya didn’t get ta ogle Y/N more.”
Charlotte shrugs.
“Maybe.”
Becky scoffs.
“Maybe my arse.”
                                                          ***
Charlotte hadn’t FORMALLY met the newest commentator on Monday Night Raw, but of course, she’d seen you backstage, typically with your attention focused on something that WASN’T your surroundings.
That was of course until one day, you nearly trampled over Charlotte, a blessing in disguise really considering she’d been wanting to talk to you since she first saw you backstage.
“I-I-I-I'm so sorry Cha- Ms. Flair.” You clear your throat, Charlotte smiling as she places a hand on your forearm.
“Call me Charlotte.” She smiles, your cheeks flushing as you rub the back of your neck.
“Well uhhh, Charlotte, it’s nice to actually meet you, bi-big fan.” You laugh nervously. “I’m Y/N.”
Charlotte takes your hand, giving it a squeeze.
“Nice to finally meet Raw’s newest commentator.”
You click your tongue, shaking your head.
“Not until tonight.” You wink, the blonde grinning.
“Well, from what I’ve heard from your Podcast, I’d say you’re going to do just fine.” She grins, your eyes widening.
“Y-You’ve listened to my Podcast?” You whisper in disbelief, the blonde’s grin widening.
“Surprised?” She asks and you shrug.
“Maybe a little.”
The two of you go silent for a moment, your eyes widening when you realize you’re still holding Charlotte’s hand.
“S-S-Sorry...” You mumble, pulling your hand away from hers, the blonde shrugging.
“Don’t be.” She takes a step backwards, her eyes running down your front.
“It was nice meeting you Y/N...”
You watch her go, the woman eventually turning around and taking her leave, your mouth agape as you stare down the hallway.
“Ye-Yeah you too.”
You clear your throat, the butterflies in your stomach making your eyes widen.
It was NO doubt that Charlotte Flair was beautiful, and something ELSE was also aware of that, something you’d rather like to keep hidden from any, and everyone.
                                                          ***
“Noticed ya talkin’ ta Y/N backstage earlier.”  Becky gives Charlotte a nudge, the blonde smirking.
“Thought I’d introduce myself.” Her smirk stretching across her face, earning an eye roll from the woman beside her.
“I bet ya did.”
Just as the words leave Becky’s mouth, your voice comes over the television, the blonde grinning as your velvety, raspy voice sounds through your headset, a complete contrast to you nervous, warbly voice from earlier.
“She definitely didn’t sound like that when we met.” She snorts, Becky, shaking her head.
“Yer a Flair, ya make everyone nervous.” She teases, earning an eye roll from the blonde.
“I do not.”
Just as the words leave her mouth, a tech with a clip board covering his face makes his way towards the two.
“M-M-Ms. Flair, you’re on in 5.” He whispers before basically sprinting away.
Charlotte turns to Becky, the Irishwoman smirking.
“Shut up.”
“Didn’t say a thing.”
                                                          ***
The moment you realize Charlotte’s match is coming up next you can’t help but smile, eager to see the woman in action, her music hits and the crowd cheers, the woman walking out onto the stage, demanding attention, the woman absolutely glowing as she spins around, showing off one of her MANY decorative robes.
You watch with a grin as she makes her way down to the ring, discussing with your commentary mates about what they think is next for The Queen.
“Without a doubt Charlotte Flair belongs in the title picture, not because she’s a Flair, but because she has the talent and skill, she belongs in that picture.” You say, eyes widening when Charlotte moves towards the commentator’s table.
She ducks down, covering your microphone with one hand, all the while whispering in your ear.
“You’re doing a great job.”
The blonde pulls back with a grin, the woman winking before she gets in the ring, the ref OF COURSE, holding the ropes for her.
“What did she say to you?” Byron Saxton asks and you grin.
“For me to know Saxton, for me to know.”
You clear your throat, again feeling the hints of arousal, the woman’s hot breath on your ear making a shiver run down your spine.
You again clear your throat, gathering yourself.
You watch intently as Charlotte clasps a microphone, glancing around the arena, demanding silence without saying a word.
Eventually, she clears her throat, though before she can even speak, Ruby Riott’s music hits.
“Ohhh, what could this be about?” Byron smirks and you chuckle.
“Charlotte Flair is the best in the business, what better way to solidify yourself than stepping up to the Queen?” You ask, a brow quirking when Liv Morgan’s music hits.
“You’re right Y/N, and if The Riott Squad want ANYONE out of the title picture it’s Charlotte Flair, because when she gets a title, she knows how to keep it.”  Samoa Joe adds.
The Riott Squad doesn’t utter a single word, the two women sharing a glance before they make a mad dash for the ring, but Charlotte is ready for them.
It’s only a matter of seconds later that both Ruby and Liv are on their backs, Charlotte standing over the two of them, arms outstretched.
She ducks down, picking her discarded mic up off the mat.
“I was only supposed to face Ruby, but since you wanted to interfere Liv, why don’t we make it a handicap match?” Charlotte smirks, everyone cheering as she drops her mic on Ruby.
“Always cocky, do you think Charlotte’s biting off more than she can chew?” Samoa Joe asks and you shake your head.
“I think she’ll be just fine.”
                                                          ***
Charlotte was MORE than fine considering she picked up the win, the woman smirking as the ref holds her hand up in the air.
“So, Y/N, what did you think about seeing The Queen in action live?” Byron asks, just as the blonde turns to you, sending you a stealthy wink.
“Seeing her live for the first time, I have to say I’m in awe of what she does in the ring, and I can’t wait for next week.” You grin, the blonde grinning as she slips out of the ring, strutting up the ramp.
“Ohhhh, does Y/N have a favorite?” Samoa Joe nudges you and you grin.
“I mean, I’m definitely impressed, and I can’t wait to see more.”
                                                          ***
“So, what did you think?”
Your brows arch as you turn to face Charlotte, a grin stretching across your face.
“I think everyone is right when they say Charlotte Flair is the best in the business.”
Charlotte smirks.
“Trying to butter me up?”
You shrug.
“Is it working?”
Charlotte in turn, shrugs back.
“Maybe.”
                                                          ***
“Hey, Y/N.”
You jump, picking your head up from the paper you’re reading, smiling when you see Charlotte making her way towards you, though she’s not alone.
Your eyes double in size as you stand up straight, as tall as you can.
“Holy shit you’re Ric Flair.” You say out loud, covering your face with the paper you’re holding.
“I said that out loud, didn’t I?” You ask, cheeks flushing.
Charlotte giggles and Ric laughs.
“You sure did kiddo.” He smiles.
You pout when seconds later, Charlotte swipes the paper from you, revealing your flushed red cheeks to the two Flair’s.
“I-I-It's a real honor to meet you sir.” You hold your hand out, the man giving it a firm shake.
“You too, it’s nice to see a new face on the commentary team.” He grins, the man’s eyes widening when someone, that someone being Randy Orton, gives him a pat on the back.
Ric turns, pressing a kiss to Charlotte’s cheek before he again holds his hand out, another firm shake shared between the two of you.
“It was great meeting you kid, can’t wait to see more of you.” He smiles before he and Randy take their leave, leaving you and Charlotte behind.
“Warn me when a literal LEGEND in the business wants to meet me.” You pout, Charlotte rolling her eyes as she studies the paper you were reading.
“Who doesn’t want to meet Raw’s newest commentator?” She asks, huffing when you swipe the sheet of paper back from her.
“I’m not THAT special.” You say as the two of you start making your way down the hallway, Charlotte humming.
“You are, everybody really likes you.”
You stop, turning to her with wide eyes.
“Wait, really?” You grin in disbelief the woman giggling as she places a hand on your shoulder.
“Yeah, what isn’t there to like about you?” She says, cheeks flushing when she realizes exactly what she said.
You clear your throat, cheeks flushing.
“I mean, coming from someone like you who is literal perfection?” You snort, your eyes doubling in size.
Charlotte glances away bashfully.
“That’s-
“Excuse me, Y/N, mind if we have a word?”
You jump at the sound of Triple H’s voice, turning to the man with a smile.
“S-Sure, of course.” You turn back to Charlotte grinning shyly.
“See you later?” You rub the back of your neck nervously; a tick Charlotte finds endearing.
“Of course.”
With that, you and Triple H take your leave, the two of you speaking in hushed tones as you make your way down the hallway.
Charlotte crosses her arms across her chest, watching you until you round the corner and move out of sight.
“Whathca lookin at?” Becky asks, coming out of nowhere and Charlotte smirks, shaking her head.
“Nothing.”
                                                          ***
The way your voice husks through your microphone makes Charlotte feel even more attracted to you than she already was.
She couldn’t deny what she was feeling for you, but she KNEW it went well beyond coworkers and FAR beyond friendship.
Watching you cockily smirk at the commentary table, the way you’d laugh when Samoa Joe cracked jokes at the expense of some WWE Superstars, mainly Seth Rollins, and Byron Saxton himself, BUT you at times would stick up for the man, considering before you joined the team, he’d been your favorite.
Charlotte couldn’t get enough of your smoky voice sounding throughout the backstage area, the way it would demand attention, contrasting from the way Byron and Samoa Joe would talk.
The woman had a habit of going back on the WWE Network to listen to your commentary during her match, each and every time you sung her praises.
Unbeknownst to her, you’re currently standing behind her, the woman smiling when the camera snaps to you at the commentary table.
“What are you watching there?” You ask, the blonde letting out a squeak that makes you snort, your arms wrapping around your middle as you double over in laughter.
Charlotte growls, giving you a half-hearted shove.
“Shut up.”
You gasp, attempting to catch your breath as you wipe the tears from the corner of your eyes.
“I’m sorry, that was just TOO good.”
Charlotte huffs, leaning against a nearby wall, the woman sending you a mock glare as you lean against the wall beside her.
“I WAS watching my favorite commentator, not sure now.”
You pout, putting your best puppy dog eyes on display.
It only takes a millisecond for the woman to cave.
“Alright, stop with the puppy dog eyes.” She demands, nudging you playfully with her shoulder.
“Wow, that was easy, I’ll have to remember that.”
Charlotte sends you a mock glare and you grin, the woman chuckling.
“I was listening to a certain someone’s commentary on my match.” She smiles, a smile you mime.
“Anyone I know?” You ask innocently.
“No, you don’t know them.”
You gasp, sighing loudly.
“AND HERE I thought I was your favorite.”
Charlotte smiles, her head lolling to the side as she turns to you, she examines your profile for a moment, tracing your sharp jawline, the woman’s smile widening when she sees how tiny your ears are.
During her perusing, she completely misses the fact that you’d turned towards her, your eyes wide and cheeks flushing bright red.
Charlotte blinks rapidly, the woman biting her bottom lip as her eyes lock with yours.
“You are.” She whispers and your brows furrow.
“What?”
Your eyes widen when Charlotte reaches for you, the woman fixing the collar of your shirt and adjusting your tie.
Charlotte simply stares at you for a moment, her green orbs darting from your eyes, to your lips and back before she grins.
“You are my favorite.”
You swallow hard, taking a deep breath as the woman takes her leave, attempting to rein your emotions in, but it’s to no avail, your forehead resting against a nearby wall.
“Thank fuck for compression shorts.” You mumble under your breath, wiggling for a second before you push off the wall and head down the hallway as if nothing had ever happened.
                                                          ***
After your last interaction, you knew what you felt for Charlotte was more than friendship.
You wanted her, in a less than friendship kind of way, but what you wanted wasn’t just driven by lust, you really, really liked her, her smile made your heart skip a beat, her green orbs sent a warmth spreading through your chest that filled you with complete and utter delight.
You were falling for the woman, but there was NO WAY she could possibly feel the same, she was a Flair, she had men dropping at her feet, why would she fall for the WWE’s new commentator that she’d only known for around 6 months?
AND a woman no less.
You shake your head.
“Not a chance.” You mumble under your breath.
“Not a chance of what?”
You jump, turning on your heels to find Lana, the woman smirking as she makes her way towards you.
“Uhh, nothing.” You shrug, the woman grinning as she places a hand on your forearm.
“Didn’t seem like nothing...” She caresses your arm and your brows furrow in confusion, the thing you’re trying to hide twitching slightly.
You swallow hard.
“Uhhh, what are you-
The clearing of someone’s throat makes you turn away from the woman and to the newly appeared Charlotte Flair, the blonde making a smile stretch across your face.
“Hey.” You say as you move away from Lana, and towards Charlotte, the taller woman smirking as she sends her a glare.
“Don’t you have somewhere to be?” Charlotte snarks, the blonde huffing before she stomps away, heels clicking on the backstage floor.
You sigh, swiping the back of your hand across your forehead.
“Dodged a bullet there.” You say, placing a hand on your heart.
Charlotte meanwhile isn’t looking at you, she’s glaring over your shoulder at Lana’s retreating form.
“Hey, you there?” You ask, Charlotte glancing from Lana, to you and back, the muscle in her jaw jumping.
“Are you alright?” You ask, the woman taking a deep breath before she abruptly turns away, leaving you to watch her go with a sad frown.
Your shoulders hunch as you too walk away, in the opposite direction, away from Charlotte.
                                                          ***
Charlotte growls angrily.
“Bitch.” She snarls angrily, stomping through the backstage area, wanting nothing more than to literally snap Lana in half, in fact that was what she MAY end up doing.
“Whoa, where’s da fire?” Becky asks as she round the corner, stopping Charlotte in her tracks.
“Why do ya look so pissed?” She asks and Charlotte huffs.
“Y/N...” Charlotte starts, Becky’s brows knitting together in confusion.
“Wat about Y/N?” She asks and Charlotte growls.
“Lana was hitting on her.” She grumbles and Becky smirks, a brow arched.
“Ahh, so ya were jealous?” She teases and Charlotte sends her a deadly glare.
“I was NOT jealous.” She says, her nose crinkling and Becky snorts.
“Sorry ta break it to ya, but ya were jealous.”
Charlotte’s lips part to AGAIN deny the accusation, but slam shut seconds later, the woman knowing she can no longer deny what she was feeling for you.
“Figure it out?” Becky smirks and Charlotte groans.
“Shut up.”
                                                          ***
You weren’t sure why, but Charlotte had avoided you for the entire day.
Unfortunately for you though, Lana hadn’t, she’d cornered you, multiple times, but thankfully for you, you always had a way out, by luck, techs needed you, legends, superstars.
Though unfortunately for you, you had nowhere to run when Lana caught you again.
“Lucky for me you’re not busy this time.” Lana smiles seductively as she walks your way, hips swaying.
“Ummm, actually I was-”
“She was just leaving.”
Your eyes widen when Charlotte Flair appears from basically nowhere, the woman’s green eyes full of fire as she glares Lana down.
Lana lets out a lengthy sigh, turning your way.
“When the two of you are done, how about you come find me?” She winks before again, taking her leave, Charlotte glaring daggers into her as she goes.
Charlotte, without even glancing over her shoulder at you, again goes to make a hasty retreat, but unlike the last time, you catch her wrist.
“Charlotte, what’s wrong? Why do you keep running away from me?” You ask, confused as to why the woman is again, trying to leave.
Your questions are answered when in one swift motion, Charlotte turns on her heels, shoving you back into a dark corner, her lips slamming against yours.
Your eyes widen, hands finding purchase on the woman’s waist.
Charlotte’s lips are soft, insistent, it’s then you realize you aren’t kissing back.
Charlotte’s heart lightens in her chest when your lips start moving, your hands sliding around to the small of her back, pulling her closer, your bodies flush.
You get lost in the kiss, lips meeting again and again until Charlotte’s tongue probes at your bottom lip, your lips immediately parting, allowing the woman’s tongue to invade, the two of you moaning when your tongues meet.
Your tongues tangle in a tantalizing dance, your hands slipping from the small of Charlotte’s back, to her tight covered ass, giving the firm flesh a squeeze.
You’re so lost in kissing that you don’t realize what’s happening until Charlotte grinds against you, her and your eyes flashing open.
Bile rises into your throat, your heart slamming hard, your ears ringing as you stand stock still for a moment, Charlotte’s green orbs falling to the noticeable bulge in your pants.
Charlotte’s eyes dart to yours as your cover the bulge with your hands, tears streaming down your face.
“Don’t tell.” You whisper before sprinting away, leaving the bewildered blonde behind.
                                                          ***
Charlotte was confused, completely and UTTERLY confused.
What she saw was what she thought it was, right?
She’d seen it, felt it, and still she couldn’t believe it.
Though the thing that stood out to her MOST was the look of utter fear on your face, the tears streaming down your cheeks as you spoke.
“Don’t tell.”
The look on your face had completely broken her heart, the utter terror, the way your throat bobbed as you swallow, the way your chest heaved as you breathed heavily, your fight or flight response kicking in, and in this case, you had fled.
Charlotte leans back against the wall you just were leaning against, her own chest heaving as she thinks about what you’d been doing BEFORE you’d retreated.
What mattered now though, what mattered most was that she find you, because right now, you needed her.
Yes, she still COULDN’T believe what had happened, but right now, all that mattered was finding you, because you needed her.
                                                          ***
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
NO.
You couldn’t believe it.
You couldn’t BELIEVE it.
After all this time, after all these YEARS of keeping your secret hidden, your secret had been revealed to none other than Charlotte Flair.
Everyone watched as you sprinted, you passed a number of your co-workers, superstars, techs and security alike, all looking at you in worry, but you didn’t stop, you didn’t stop because Charlotte was the ONLY one who was going to find out about your secret.
You sprint towards the room where you’d placed your suitcase and snatch it up completely ignoring when someone calls your name in favor of sprinting to your rental, refusing to look back.
                                                         ***
Luckily for Charlotte, the two of you were staying in the same hotel, your rooms not far from one another since the two of you had rode together to the venue.
Charlotte takes a deep breath as she stops in front of your hotel room’s door, the woman eyeing the door’s surface intently.
You’d come to mean a lot to her, the woman wanting to be around you more than anything, and she’d be lying if she said she didn’t enjoy what was happening before you’d made a hasty escape.
Charlotte’s cheeks flush as she thinks about how large the-
She shakes her head, clearing her throat.
After taking another deep breath, the woman reining in her courage.
A beat.
Another.
A third.
Then, she knocks.
                                                          ***
You let out a groan from where you’re lying face down in your bed, knowing that the knock on your hotel room’s door must be the pizza you ordered considering the hotel’s desk was sending up the delivery boy.
You roll out of bed, glancing down at the front of your sweats, JUST to make sure what happened earlier didn’t happen again.
You shuffle towards the door, tugging the door open without looking through the peephole.
“How much do I-
You stiffen, eyes widening when you realize the person at the door ISN’T the pizza delivery boy, but it was Charlotte Flair.
“Ch-Char... Charlotte... I was...” You stammer, the blonde taking a deep breath.
“Can I come in?” She asks, voice below a whisper and you swallow hard.
You debate for a few seconds before you take a step to the side, allowing the woman inside.
Just before you go to close the door, the pizza delivery boy makes his appearance.
“Ms. Y/L/N?” He asks, his eyes widening when he sees who you are.
“That’s me.” You smile. “How much...?”
“Uhhh... O-O-On the house, I-I'm a huge fan.” He beams, his smile contagious.
You move into the room, grabbing your wallet before making your way back to the door.
“Nonsense.” You smile, fishing $100 out of your wallet.
“Keep the change.” You smile, the boy’s smile widening.
“Tha-Thanks so much! W-Would you mind a picture?” He asks. “My friends will NEVER believe me if I say I met Y/N, you’re the greatest commentator on Raw!” He says excitedly and you grin.
“Yeah, of course.”
You take a few selfies with the boy before he giddily slips your pizza out of the bag he’d brought and hands you the pizza box.
“Thank you so much Y/N!” He smiles, the man grinning further when you hand him a slip of paper, your autograph scrawled across the paper.
“No problem. Have a good one bud.”
“You too!”
You kick the door shut behind you and head back into the room, turning to Charlotte who’s sitting on the bed.
You nod to the box.
“Want a slice?” You ask the woman humming.
“I probably shouldn’t...”
You shrug.
“I won’t tell if you won’t.”
Charlotte smirks.
“Maybe just a slice.”
                                                          ***
A slice turned into the two of you knocking out the entire pizza, but with the food gone, you have to talk about the elephant in the room.
Charlotte clears her throat, turning to you.
“I-I’m sorry about earlier.” She whispers and you frown, shaking your head.
“You have nothing to be sorry for...” You shrug, fidgeting nervously in the chair you’re currently sitting in.
“If I hadn’t...” Charlotte clears her throat, cheeks flushing.
“If I hadn’t have kissed you, we wouldn’t have...” You swallow hard, finding the courage to stand, making your way towards the end of the bed and sitting down.
Charlotte follows suite taking a seat beside you.
“I’m uhhh...” You blush, shrugging.
“I’m glad you kissed me.” You bite your bottom lip, seeing Charlotte smile out of the corner of your eye.
“I’ve wanted to kiss you for a while now .” You confess in a whisper, Charlotte turning your way with a blush.
“You have?” She asks and you nod.
“Ye-Yeah...”
The two of you go silent, simply staring at one another before you clear your throat.
“I’m sorry I didn’t tell you...” You frown.
Charlotte shakes her head, scooting closer.
“No, don’t be sorry...”
“I have to be, I doubt you uhhh...” You glance away, the tips of your ears burning. “Wanted to, feel that...”
The bed shifts slightly and you quickly realize Charlotte has scooted closer, the woman resting her hand on the bed between you, palm up.
An invitation.
You look at her hand for a moment before taking it, interlacing your fingers, Charlotte giving your hand a squeeze.
“I don’t want to make you uncomfortable.” She says, the woman stroking the back of your hand.
“You don’t have to talk about it if you don’t want to.” She says softly and you shake your head. ‘
“I want to.”
Your eyes widen, surprised the words had come out of your mouth.
You didn’t want to tell ANYONE your secret, at least, you didn’t before, but with Charlotte sitting in front of you, your hand in hers, you find the courage to say something to someone that you’ve never said to ANYONE.
“I’m intersex.” You mumble, Charlotte nodding, though her brow knits in confusion.
“I was uhhh, born a female but uhh, have different uhh, parts.” You say, swallowing hard, watching as Charlotte’s facial expression changes into one of understanding.
“You realize that doesn’t change who you are, right?”
Your eyes widen as you let out a humorless laugh.
“You’re kidding, right? By normal world standards, I’m a fre-
“Don’t call yourself that.” Charlotte bites, your brows furrowing in confusion at the look in the woman’s green orbs.
“I-
“No, Y/N, you’re as normal as I am, as anyone, there is nothing wrong with you, and you are NOT a freak.”
You blink once, twice, a third time, before your eyes fill with tears, tears leaking from your Y/E/C orbs and streaming down your face.
Charlotte tentatively cups your cheeks, the woman ridding them of tears with the pads of her thumbs. She leans forwards, resting her forehead against yours.
“There’s NOTHING wrong with you Y/N. Nothing at all.” She whispers, bumping her nose against yours. “Do you hear me?” She asks, earning the slightest of nods.
Charlotte tilts her head back, pressing a kiss to your forehead, something that makes your eyes widen and your cheeks flush.
Your eyes flutter shut, as you exhale loudly through your nose, Charlotte pulling back with a small smile.
Your face scrunches up as you let out a long, loud, yawn.
“You need to rest Y/N.” She whispers, brushing strands of hair out of your face. “You had a rough day.” She whispers.
You take a deep breath, your eyes locking with Charlotte’s green orbs.
“Could you...” You pause, clearing your throat, shaking your head. “N-N-Never mind.”
Charlotte chuckles.
“Tell me.”
“Y-You could stay if you wanted.” You shrug, your cheeks blood red as you look at any and everything but the woman in front of you.
Charlotte smiles, glancing around the room, quickly realizing there’s only a single bed.
You quickly realize that in the same moment, jumping to your feet, your heart in your throat.
“U-Uh, I forgot it was ju-just one bed.” You stammer, shuffling from foot to foot.
“I’m sorry.”
You’re about to make an escape to the bathroom, but before you can Charlotte catches your wrist.
“Hey, breathe, it’s okay.” She whispers, moving to her feet. “I never said I didn’t want to.” She smiles, your eyes widening as you turn to look at her, your cheeks blood red.
“Wh-What...?” You ask in disbelief, the blonde’s smile splitting into a grin.
“You heard me...  Just let me go get my things.” She smiles, your eyes widening when she takes the key to your hotel room, sending you a wink before she heads out the door.
You stay stock still, staring at the door the woman had just disappeared behind, your jaw slack.
“W-Well then.” You clear your throat, sprinting around the room to clean it up, even though it was in no way a mess.
Charlotte comes back not long after, the woman smiling when she sees you in the bathroom brushing your teeth, toothbrush hanging out of your mouth as you turn to her.
“Hmmmph...” You say, grimacing, pulling the tooth brush out of your mouth and spitting into the sink.
“Hey.” You snort, the blonde shaking her head.
“Hey to you too.”
Charlotte makes her way further into the room and you take a deep breath, rinsing your mouth out before you head back into the room.
“Comfy?” You ask Charlotte, who’s currently lounging on the bed, the woman shrugging.
“I am.”
You take a deep breath, shuffling towards the bed, your eyes on your feet as you stand beside it, nervous to get into the bed.
“Hey.” Charlotte whispers, reaching for and taking your wrist, giving it a tug. “Trust me.” She whispers, giving your wrist a squeeze.
“I-I don’t want you to be uncomfortable.” You whisper, Charlotte giving your wrist another tug.
“I won’t be.” She whispers and you swallow hard.
It takes a few more tugs on your wrist for the blonde to get you into the bed, your eyes locked with hers as you slowly sit down beside her.
“Y-You’re su-
Your eyes widen when Charlotte cups your cheeks, pressing the softest of kisses to your lips.
Charlotte’s green orbs dart around your face, the woman smiling when a smile stretches across your face.
“I’m sure.” She says, her fingertips tracing your jawline.
It takes a moment for the both of you to get situated, the two of you sliding beneath the covers, a noticeable distance between the two of you.
Charlotte shakes her head, shutting the lights off before she shuffles closer to you, your eyes widening as she drapes an arm over your waist.
“Relax.” She whispers, smiling when you roll on your side and shuffle backwards, your back resting against her chest.
You let out a deep sigh, the blonde smiling as she buries her face in your neck.
“As horrible as you thought it would be?” She asks and you chuckle.
“Not even remotely.”
You let out a lengthy sigh, your eyes fluttering shut as Charlotte nuzzles into the space behind your ear, your cheeks flushing when Charlotte presses a kiss to your earlobe.
“Goodnight Y/N.” She whispers and you grin, all earlier nervousness fading away in the blonde’s arms.
“Goodnight Charlotte.”

I love your writing!! Do you have any more female wrestlers x female reader stuff planned? ❣️
Thank you!! I do, but I have been sadly neglectful on that side of things, I know. I always have some Shayna stuff at least half on the boil (because SHAYNA, also I really REALLY want to write some knife play with her because she’s into knives and I can’t stop thinking about it) and there’s a Ruby Riott thing I have mostly done and just need to push to finish. And I kind of keep wondering about Dakota/Raquel/Reader with the reader as the sub to the two of them and Dakota being super bossy and telling Raquel what to do to you. Also (as a separate thing) domme!Asuka, because that idea has fascinated me for a long time now.

Fem!reader x taking care of ruby soho after a match, where ruby gets a little bit bruised and cut, and reader very gently tends to her wounds and it's just like pure fluff (please no mention of doctors, anything medical, it's a trigger for me)
Cuts and bruises || Ruby Soho x Reader
Summary: You clean Ruby up after a big match.
A/N: There is one little mention of reader cleaning Ruby's cuts with antiseptic, I'm not sure if that's alright. If not, message me and I'll make it more vague.
Tumblr media
After a gruelling match that left Ruby battered and bruised, you were determined to take care of her. Ruby was a fierce competitor in the ring, but she deserved gentle care when she was outside of it.
You led her to a quiet corner of the locker room, where you had set up a first-aid kit. Ruby sat down, wincing as she did. She trusted you, and her body relaxed as you began your careful work.
"Let me take care of you," you whispered, a gentle smile on your lips. You started with her face, using a soft, damp cloth to clean away the sweat and grime. Ruby's eyes were fixed on you, her expression softening as you dabbed at her skin, cleaning away the remnants of battle.
Moving down, you started to gently apply antiseptic to her cuts and scrapes, making sure they were clean and disinfected. Ruby winced every now and then, but she didn't complain. She knew that this was part of the care you offered, a way for you to show your love and concern.
As you kissed the smaller bruises on her face, you left soft, soothing kisses in their wake. Each kiss was a promise that you'd always be there to help her heal. Ruby's eyes closed, her breathing slowing as she surrendered to the tenderness of your touch.
You continued down her body, tending to every bruise, cut, and scrape with the same care and affection. Ruby's trust in you was unwavering. By the time you finished, she felt not only physically better but also emotionally cared for.
With the treatment complete, you took her in your arms, holding her close. Ruby's lips met yours in a deep, lingering kiss, and you could feel the gratitude and love flowing between you. In that moment, you knew that you were the one who was truly blessed. Caring for Ruby wasn't a burden; it was a privilege, and you wouldn't have it any other way.

You hated Liv Morgan. You hated Ruby Riot. You hated Sarah Logan. All they did was bother you and you couldn’t stand it. You and the Riot Squad have been feuding since what seemed like the beginning of time.
When you got called up to the main roster, you were happy they were finally away from you. Then about a year later, they got called up and thankfully they were put on smackdown. Then, they got moved to Raw in the superstar shakeup and their first target was, of course, you.
The shakeup took place a couple weeks ago and your tv feud with the Riot Squad was in full swing. When the cameras weren’t rolling, you tried to avoid them. But, they found joy in lurking around backstage and bothering you as much as they could.

Family Found Part 48: WrestleMania
The road is at an end. And for one wrestler, so is their career. But first, the rest of the roster get their chances to reach for glory. Titles are destined to change hands, but which ones?
Warnings/Promises: wrestling violence, tiny Sheamus x reader fluff, angst
Word Count: 3830
Note: The ‘Monday’ chapter is also coming out this weekend too, so look for that. And then there will only be one more chapter that is guaranteed to rip your hearts out. Please let me know how you’ve been enjoying, or not, this series with comments, reblogs, or messages on/off anon. Thanks for sticking around this long!
Part 1: Welcome to the Team
Part 47: Resigning
Tumblr media
WrestleMania – April 7, 2019 – Brooklyn, NY
“We have finally arrived at the end of the road. Tonight is WrestleMania!” The crowd was abuzz. Chants for favorites, and the usual random ones, sounded off every few minutes. Most of the seats were filled already because no one wanted to miss a second of the show of the year.
The announce team was preparing for interviews when Charly focused on listening closely to her headset. “Um, guys, we need to break to something going on backstage.”
Camera crew members hurried to catch up to the chaos erupting backstage. Tamina had caught Sarah Logan alone. Pinned into a corner, Sarah had nowhere to go and nothing to do except to receive the attack. Referees rushed onto the scene to break them apart. Just as Tamina was made to walk away, another fight broke out further down the hall.
This time it was Alicia Fox taking her skills to Liv Morgan, who was being held back by Ruby Riott. “Let me go,” Alicia shouted. “I’m not done with her! Viva la Alicia and Mickie!” She was still being dragged away when the cameras flipped back to the pre-show table.
Newly arrived, Bayley and Sasha Banks were snickering at the destruction. David Otunga was flabbergasted. “You don’t seem surprised to see all this. Care to explain?”
Sasha giggled and shared a look with her tag partner. “Of course we aren’t surprised. If anything, that was the plan. Our title match tonight is an open challenge. But we,” she motioned between herself and Bayley, “won’t know who it is until the bell rings. Anybody could challenge us up to that moment.”
“You see,” Bayley added, “it’s no secret that Sasha and I haven’t always gotten along. All this year we have done our best to rip each other to shreds to find out who is the better woman. We put that aside so we could win the first ever Raw Women’s Tag Team Championships, and we’re not letting them go until the rest of the locker room shows us what, or who, they’re willing to rip apart to take these from us.”
With a nod, Sasha agreed. Sorta. “Not that it’s going to happen tonight, or any time soon. If any of those ladies think they can take our championships away on the grandest stage of them all, they’ve got another thing coming.”
The champions left, leaving the announce team to hurry and get their pre-show opinions in order.
***
The first official match was the Andre the Giant Battle Royal. All of the participating wrestlers were in the ring, and at the bell, they each found an opponent. Several men flipped over the ropes, and a couple under them. It took about forty-five minutes to make it down to the final five. It was Mojo Rawley, EC3, Jeff Hardy, R-Truth, and Cesaro.
After a few more minutes, it was down to Mojo and Cesaro. The Swiss Cyborg was just going over the ropes when the missing wrestlers appeared from under the ring. The rough hype came to a standstill as he recognized his old partner and the man with the longest losing streak. Zack Ryder kept a close eye on him as Curt Hawkins followed him into the ring. It was two versus one, but Mojo succeeded in throwing both of them off. He tossed Hawkins through the ropes and set to tipping Ryder over the top. Struggling, Ryder was able to wriggle onto the apron.
Curt rolled backing into the ring, restarting the fight. It was Mojo who ended up going over the topes, but he took Ryder with him, despite Curt’s death-grip on his friend’s wrist. Mojo had a grip around Ryder’s waist. If Ryder fell, he fell. And Hawkins was the only lifeline. The duo started to slip backward, Hawkins’s grip failing. Zack smiled. “It’s all you, man.” Then he let go.
The bell rang. Rawley and Rider had been eliminated, and Curt Hawkins had won the battle royal. And, he had ended his streak.
***
Behind you on a screen, Ryder was celebrating with Hawkins in the ring. You were too busy arguing with a flurry of women to watch it. “Ladies, enough! There isn’t time to add another preshow match. As much as I hate that you are fighting backstage, I can’t give you a tornado tag match. Bayley and Sasha’s opponents will just have to bide their time and strike when they can. Whoever they are. Now please, I’ve got things to do.”
Begrudgingly, the women left your office. You were rubbing your temples when there was a hesitant knock at your door. “I thought I made myself clear- oh.” Large hands gripped your shoulders, working out the stressed kinks. “You’re going to get us in trouble.”
“Only if we get caught,” Sheamus chuckled. He succeeded in wrapping his arms around you before kissing the top of your head. It was enough to help you release a long, deep breath. Suddenly his touch was gone.
“Can I have a moment with my cousin?” Dean asked, calmly staring Sheamus down from the doorway. After your red-head gave you a reassuring pat between your shoulder blades, the men sidestepped each other.
Hey, Dean,” you whispered.
He stepped in rubbing the back of his head. “Hey, Ladybug. I know you’re busy, but I need to get something off my chest.”
“Go for it.” Easy to say. The tightness of your chest claimed otherwise.
He nodded. “I get it. I understand. And I’m sorry for the ride through hell to get there.” His hand shot up to stop you from putting yourself down again. “It was an impossible choice. Either Roman and I were going to lose Seth again, or I was going to have to give up… everything. I mean, we just got him back. And I just got you back… and there was nothing you could do.” Dean set his shoulders, but his eyes couldn’t meet yours. “I should have been willing to listen. Then maybe we could have found a way to avoid all this.”
You were on the verge of tears. He booped your nose, forcing you to smile. “Roman keeps telling me I have nothing to worry about.” You wiped away a tear. “And I have complete faith in both of you-“
“But?”
“But Brock is dangerous. Past the stupid stipulations. He’s… just about everybody ends up bloody or worse-“
“And I’m prepared for that.” He rested his hand lightly on your shoulder. “I’ve been preparing for a lot of things, actually.” His voice dropped out. Neither of you wanted to point out the two worst case scenarios again. “That was all I needed to say. Keep up the managing thing. You’re good at it… and I couldn’t be prouder of you.” He let you catch him in a tight hug, stroking the top of your head. Then he wrenched himself free and rushed out of your office.
***
The women’s battle royal was just as dramatic, if not more so, than the guys’. Of the final five, two women took the center of the ring. Zelina Vega, Asuka, and Nikki Cross huddled in corners, waiting to see what would happen. Natalya and Rhonda stared each other down. Not six months ago they were the best of friends, battling for the same goals but with handshakes after every altercation. Now they were cold. Unmoved by each other’s goals or aspirations.
They set to punches and head blows that rocked the ring. Unfortunately, in their haste and determination to eliminate one another, both women ended up landing on the apron after twisting over the ropes. Then the other three women sprang into action. It took all of them to launch the women off onto the floor. Thus, eliminating them both. Then Nikki and Asuka set on knocking each other out of the match. Zelina came bouncing off the ropes, succeeding in twisting Nikki over the top.
Now it was down to two. Zelina rushed not to lose her momentum. Bu Asuka wasn’t going to make it easy. Twice, three times one of them would stumble through the ropes. The Empress of tomorrow did everything she could to take the victory today. They both ended up on the apron. Taking a risk, Zelina jumped and grabbed hold of Asuka’s head, dropping with it. Asuka’s face bounced off the edge, and her body followed. Zelina fell back into the ring, running her hands through her hair. She’d won. After the referee raised her hand, she left the ring and stood by the trophy. Her trophy.
***
Roman marched down to the ring. He paced from ropes to rope like a caged lion, ignoring the continued mixed welcome from the crowd. When the lights finally dimmed for Dr. M’s entrance, he kneeled in one corner with his back against the turnbuckles. Dr. M grinned and eventually met him, standing toe to toe. Even though Roman towered over him, the trepidation in Roman’s eyes made the doctor smug. And gave him an edge.
Not waiting for the bell, Dr. M rushed forward. He caught Roman unawares, knocking him to the canvas. The rain of punches and kicks didn’t stop until Dr. M stepped back. He laughed. “You aren’t ready to defend yourself. How could you ever think you could keep me from healing the WWE? From healing Y/N?” His smile flickered away as Roman struggled to his feet.
They went at it again. Dr. M still had the upper hand, despite Roman’s mostly effective offense. His prior attacks had created several openings for future hits. Roman’s ribs and throat were easy targets. If he couldn’t breathe, he couldn’t fight. And he wouldn’t win. But Dr. M had forgotten one very important thing.
No one messes with his family.
“You know, Roman,” Dr. M said into his ear while controlling him with a headlock, “Y/N really is such a perfect puppet for Hunter and Stephanie. Maybe they won’t mind if Sister Abigail borrows her vessel for a while, hmm. And why not bring Dean into the family too? I’d hate to break them apart again. Though I would have to break through their fevers by any means necessary.”
With a roar, Roman broke free and headbutted Dr. M. The man staggered back, fighting to shake free the blurriness in his vision. By the time it was back, so was Roman with a spear. Dr. M groaned and gasped as Roman walked away and gripped the top rope. The tape whined under his grip, and the referee took several steps back. Dr. M was eventually back on his feet. He dodged the first spear, but the second after Roman bounced off the far ropes. One, two, and three seconds later Dr. M was nowhere close to getting back up. Roman gave him an extra series of kicks to get him out of the ring, then swayed on his feet. He left the arena as the rest of WrestleMania started.

“Ladies and gentlemen, Elias.”
Inside the circle of light, Elias strummed his guitar. The crowd was deathly silent until he finished, then they started the ‘walk with Elias’ chant. He smiled at them. “It’s great to finally be recognized at the greatest concert of them all. Even if the arena is filled with disgusting rabble like you.” He waited for their shift in mood to die down a little before playing his song. It was dedicated to the dirt people of Brooklyn, punctuated with the occasional jab at Drew McIntyre. He was met with thunderous applause as he finished. “Finally. No interruptions.” He strummed to start another song, but he’d spoken too soon.
Soon enough, Drew was in the ring, dark and foreboding. He handed the Intercontinental title to the referee, glaring at Elias while the title match was announced.  Elias only let go of his guitar long enough to get rid of his mic and his scarves. Once the bell rang, the instrument whistled through the air, just barely missing Drew’s head. The champion slid out of the ring to quickly arm himself. Steel chairs, tables, and another guitar hidden in the bell box (after the first one was broken) came into play. The ring was littered with bamboo strips and fractured tables. Still, both men eluded the count.
A third guitar came out from under the ring. “How many guitars does Elias have?” Corey asked, flabbergasted. No matter how many more were hidden under the ring, it was the last one Elias needed. He scaled a turnbuckle and jumped. Drew turned just in time to catch the hit on his shoulder, collapsing as it splintered. Elias pinned him, even with chunks of wood jabbing into his own body. It had taken almost a year, but Elias was finally the Intercontinental champion once again.

It was time to see who won the backstage battle to face Bayley and Sasha Banks for the Raw Women’s Tag Titles. Renee had kept up with the results better than anyone else. “The last people we saw standing were Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan of the Riott Squad. Right before Roman’s match against Dr. M, they had gotten the jump on Natalya and Rhonda.”
Corey shrugged. “I don’t think any of us really thought that team was going to face the champions. They had quite a moment during the women’s battle royal. And it cost them.”
“But now it’s Boss and Hug time,” Cole said as the champions came down the ramp. The women waited patiently in the ring to see who their opponents were going to be. They bumped each other’s shoulders as the aforementioned team came out to the stage. Sarah and Liv cackled, proud of themselves for having won the moment. They were just about to take a step forward when they were hit from behind. Not waiting for them to get up, Alicia Fox and Mickie James rushed down the ramp. If they could make it to the ring and survive until the bell, the match was theirs. They made it, jumping and hugging one another while Sasha and Bayley stood back and golf-clapped.
The partying didn’t last long. It was time for the match. And it was a showstopper. Alicia and Mickie had years of experience on their side, years of being glossed over, years of waiting to step up only to be stepped over. Sasha and Bayley had the legacy NXT’s four horsewomen behind them and the rebuilt strength of their friendship. They had the championship buffer as well. That helped a lot when Mickie knocked Sasha out of the ring. She was willing to wait for the count, taking her time to roll around, but Alicia raced around the ring and shoved the champion back into the ring. Caught off-guard, Mickie was too busy mocking Bayley to sense the danger behind her.
Bayley ran across the ring to spear Alicia off the apron so Mickie could be pinned. Their titles retained, they stood together, ushering the new era of women’s wrestling.
***
The guys’ tag match didn’t go as smoothly for the champions. At first, it looked like they had everything under control. Rezar started the match against Sami Zayn. Behind him, Akam shouted what to do, and when to move away from the ropes when it looked like Kevin Owens was about to try something. Eventually, the tags switched and the process was the same. But as the match progressed, battle lines were drawn. Akam took a particularly teasing hit from Sami, who was good at dodging his grasp. Kevin was able to keep up with Rezar and keep him on his toes. The fight extended to ringside, and that’s when things got… broken.
No limbs, thankfully. But things definitely fell apart. Rezar was ringside meeting Owens blow for blow, toss for toss, and was mid-roar after throwing Owens into a barricade when Sami came running by. Akam was quick on his heels, but the champions zigged when they should have zagged. The two massive bodies colliding sent both men flying back the way they came. Sami and Kevin had recovered, and it took both to toss Akam back into the ring. With Rezar still reeling and unable to help, Sami made the pin. The victors met in the center of the ring, falling to their knees and accepting their new tag championship. They met again at the top of the massive ramp and held their titles high.
***
The last singles match of the night was for the Raw Women’s Championship between Ruby Riott and Alexa Bliss. As hostess, Alexa directed the biggest entrance of the night worthy of her talent, and arguably her ego. Ruby took a simpler entrance. Not that she needed anything bigger. Having the championship around her waist, and then on her shoulder, was stunning enough.
Alexa brought out all the stops. An unspoken goal had been for her team to hold all the Raw women’s titles. But with Mickie and Alicia coming up short, it was up to her to take up the slack. Ruby was similarly in mood. Her tag-mates had been denied their match. If she could retain, the Riott Squad had hope to rise again. Ruby accepted Alexa’s attack, then rerouted it for her own mission. A Twisted Bliss was narrowly avoided, and the stunned Alexa was easy to catch in a submission while Ruby caught her breath. Several more dives from the top ropes happened, but it was a Riot Kick to one of Alexa’s leaps that finished the match. Ruby retained, screaming into the night air with her title in her hands.
***
Now was the main event.
“This match is a Universal Championship triple-threat match set for one fall. The competitor who is pinned will have to leave the WWE forever.”
Dean nervously looked between Seth and Brock Lesnar. And the title. He bit back the urge to look towards the ramp as if you were there. Backstage, you were just as nervous. Roman was hovering by the tv too, but from a distance, so he could run to the ring as soon as the match was over. Sheamus stood right behind you, holding the hand you had resting on your shoulder.
At the bell, Seth and Dean instantly rushed to attack Lesnar in one swoop. He was laughing before they reached him. With his two large hands, he caught each around the throat. First, Lesnar tossed Seth one way and between the ropes. He threw Dean back towards the center of the ring, then caught him with the first suplex of the match. Seth pulled Dean to the floor and slid in, starting the attack he planned. His quick movements kept confusing the Beast. And they were wearing him down. A well-placed Frog-Splash caught Lesnar in the ribs, but he twisted Seth into a submission. Dean rushed back in to break it up before his brother had to tap out.
Seth remained huddled in the corner, nursing his arm while Dean and Lesnar faced off again. This time Dean was successful in dodging the harder blows and the attempted suplexes. He managed to drop him with a Dirty Deeds and instantly tried for a pin. Which instantly failed. Dean knew he couldn’t let up on the attack, but Lesnar’s low laugh was unnerving.
“I don’t care which one of you I pin,” he chuckled. “It’s all the same to me. No, what will matter after this match, is how your little cousin survives with me as champion.” They both rose to their feet, circling each other. “Maybe I do care. If my reign is going to be a bit more hands-on, I’d rather not have you in the way.” Behind them on the floor, Paul Heyman nodded, grinning ear to ear. Seth heard too and used the ropes to get back to his feet.
Lesnar was flanked on both sides. E wasn’t bothered by that until the timing of brothers kicked in. If he thought keeping up with Rollins or stomping down Ambrose was hard, it was nigh impossible to keep tabs on both. Dean was wildest of the two. The threat was enough to send him boarder-lining on several mistakes. Those close calls got him suplexed across the ring, several of which sent him hurtling to the floor. Still, it distracted the Beast enough from Seth’s darting attacks. Alone, the plan might have worked. With both of them working against Lesnar? It was becoming a sure match.
Then Lesnar fell out of the ring, just as Dean and Seth found themselves on opposite sides of it.
Backstage, you shook your head. “No.” You whispered. “Don’t do it guys.”
They looked at one another, and to where Brock was out of sight. Seth launched half a second before Dean did, catching him in the chest and taking him to the canvas. The referee was just swooping in to count when Seth jolted back. The price came to mind. And it was too high. With another shared look, they rolled through the ropes and set on bringing Lesnar back onto the canvas. With both of them then leaning on his chest, the referee kneeled to count. Dean backed away before he started, watching as all three seconds went by.
The screen erupted with the cheers of the crowd, but you were frozen. Sheamus shook your shoulders. “What’s wrong? They won.”
“If this had been the original contract, Dean would have just given up his career… of his own free will.”
Roman was already gone. You hurried out the door to follow him. By the time you made it to the ramp, Dean was already enveloped in a Roman-sized bear hug. You took over, hugging Dean with all your strength. Seth was still in the ring, showing off his retained Universal title at each ring post. Brock Lesnar and his advocate came up the ramp, both of them panting. Dean’s back was still turned to them. Unaware of the danger. You pushed him and Roman back and stood between them and the advancing party. Lensar paused, amused that you thought he’d give an effort now that he was done with the company. He was long gone by the time Seth caught up.
The brothers in arms shared a victory hug. One that you watched from a distance. You couldn’t hear what they were saying to one another, but that was okay. It wasn’t for you to hear. When the huddle broke, Dean caught you around the shoulders the same way Roman caught his, and they led you backstage.
Seth Rollins looked out over the crowd. A sold-out arena all shouting ‘slay the beast’. Because he had. With the biggest smile on his face in a long time, he lifted the red and gold belt above his head. It was theirs; he’d won it for them. And he’d defend it for them, no matter what it took.

Altercation (Liv Morgan x Ruby Riott x Reader)
Tumblr media
People argued. It wasn’t uncommon for there to be minor altercations between wrestlers backstage. You’d seen it back at NXT, on Smackdown, on Raw, and especially at PPVs. There was something about having so many people in one place that got tensions kind of high. You normally didn’t find yourself getting in fights with anybody, but tonight was different.
It was your first night on Raw after becoming a wild card. You hadn’t been on Raw since your debut and now you were supposed to be wrestling Ruby. It was supposed to be a pretty hardcore match, so Liv was nervous about the two of you doing it. Liv had been doting on you at catering and then she went to find Ruby and talk to her. Once Liv had gone, Lana had slid right up next to you and opened her big, stupid mouth.
“It makes sense that she’d leave you so hastily. Ruby is her favorite,” Lana said. “You should really find a woman who treats you right Y/n.”
“Liv and Ruby treat me just fine,” you said and Lana scoffed. “What?”
“Who is she always protecting? Liv doesn’t love you like she does Ruby,” Lana told you. She walked off after that and you sat there, letting your anger simmer for a bit. You did your match and Ruby came out of it with some really bad bruises. So, Liv went with her to medical while you did an interview. Once that was over, you found Lana lurking around a corner. “See? All alone once again.”
“Shut the fuck up,” you hissed at her. Lana didn’t and you got in her face. She shoved you back and before you could get at her, you were being held back and Liv socked her. Ruby pulled you away and Natalya got in between Liv and Lana. Ruby went to get Liv an ice pack for her hand and Liv sat with you. “They’re pretty bruised babe.”
“It’s fine. Are you okay?” Liv asked and you nodded. Liv held you against her and kissed your forehead. “I’m sorry that I wasn’t there to stop her.”
“She only does it when you’re not around,” you said with a chuckle. “I think she’s scared of you.”
“She should be. I might be small, but I’ll knock a bitch out if they lay a hand on my girls,” Liv said and Ruby placed the pack on Liv’s knuckles.
“Sometimes I wish there were two of me so I didn’t have to worry about either of you fighting people,” Ruby said with a sigh. “I swear it’s tiring being the responsible one.”
“That altercation was not either of our faults,” you argued. Ruby let it go and rubbed your back as played with your hair.

They Call Her Red Hot Ruby Ruby Soho X Female Reader Fic
You were friends with Ruby for a while now and you were so proud of her for finally getting accepted into AEW! You loved her new nickname “Red Hot Ruby” you found yourself calling her that, but in a bit of playful manner.
You did find her hot and appealing but were kinda scared to tell her, you didn’t wanna ruin the friendship you two have. She always was the sweetest though, she’d hold your hand, put her arm around you without hesitation. Hell she’d even flirt on social media with you if some guys were bugging you. She knew you were a gay woman and she respected that.
Sometimes you honestly thought that she didn’t want anyone flirting with you anyways. She seemed so fond of you and you questioned if it was just in a platonic way or something more.
One day you two were hanging out and playing some video games together, but you couldn’t stop thinking about what it would be like to kiss those amazing looking lips of hers. She looked so cute and hot while concentrating on the game. She smashed the controller keys hard and started swearing at the game. “Fuck oh fuck!” She yelled at the game.
Hearing her say those words kinda turned you on a bit. You glanced over at her and grinned. “Hey, you wanna do something else, like maybe watch a movie?” You suggested.
Ruby grinned, “Yeah a movie sounds really good actually, what should we watch?”
You thought of one of the gayest and most romantic movies, Imagine Me & You. You were a bit shy to say at first but then you told Ruby, she agreed that it sounded good.
You went into the kitchen and made some popcorn for the both of you. Then as you were walking back into the living room with the bowl you almost tripped but Ruby jumped off of the couch so quickly and came running by your side to catch you.
“You just didn’t want the popcorn to fall on the floor.” You teased.
Ruby laughed, “That might have been part of the reason.” She joked back.
“So what are you doing, falling for me or something?” Ruby asked in a joking tone. You felt sweaty from the question but laughed it off and sat down, not really giving an answer.
You knew damn well that you were falling for her, in fact you wanted to confess your feelings but now you had to wait a bit. I mean you couldn’t tell her right after that joke.
The movie started and you ate some of the popcorn, every now and then Ruby put her hand in the bowl, sometimes at the same time as you. Once in a while your hands touched and she kinda stroked your hand before grabbing her popcorn. You blushed and giggled from it.
Once you two finished the popcorn you sat the bowl on the table in front of you both. Ruby moved closer and put her arm around you. You wanted to just melt into her, so you leaned your head on her shoulder and sighed.
“You okay Y/N?” She asked. “
Yeah this is actually really nice.” You said.
“It’s perfect actually.” She said while smiling.
“I’ve been wondering something, I know it’s a kinda random question but...” You pause.
“Hey, you can ask me anything, you know that.”
“I was wondering what would you do if a really good friend started crushing on you?” You try not to blush while asking her but it’s hard.
Her eyes widen a bit but so does her smile, “Well, it would depend on the person but I do think I’d be okay with that to be honest.”
She removes her arm from around you and turns to face you. “Is something going on?” She asks.
“How would you feel if it was another woman though?” You ask.
“Look I know we’ve been friends for a while now, so I guess there’s no better time than now to tell you.” She sighs a bit.
“What is it?” You ask nervously.
“Look, I”m actually bi and I don’t know why I didn’t tell you sooner.” She tears up a bit.
“Oh my gosh, that’s amazing but yes you could’ve told me sooner, why were you so scared?”
“I guess I just wanted you to think I was the straight friend who was an ally cause....”
“You thought that if you told me this, I’d hit on you and you don’t like me right?” You said to her.
Ruby blushed, “It’s actually very opposite from that, but what did you wanna tell me...”
You can tell Ruby is a bit nervous and you wonder if that meant she likes you. However, you are gonna just get the guts and tell her now that you like her.
“I just wanted to say that, um I actually have a crush on you!” You turn as red as a tomato.
“Whew, that’s a relief cause I have a crush on you too!” She blushes.
“Wait, you do?”
Ruby smiles, “Yeah that’s why I’m always trying to hold your hand and stuff...”
“Is  this like a platonic crush though?” You ask.
“Oh gosh no, it’s much more than that.” She laughs shyly.
“Okay good cause I have an actual crush on you, to be honest.”
“So what should we do about it?” She asks while giggling.
You move closer to her, your mouth just inches away from hers. “Well, we could...” You lean in and kiss her lips. She returns the kiss with some firey passion before pulling out of it.
You both giggle, “Yeah, yeah we could do that and any time if you ask me.” Ruby says.
“Look I really do love you and I wanna hang out with you more.” You say.
“Only hangout?” She asks.
“Well, you know hang out and kiss you a lot more too.”
She laughs, “Okay good because I know I’ll need more of those kisses again soon.”
You both hug and then sit there in silence for a bit watching the rest of the movie together. You grab Ruby’s hand and hold it, interlocking your fingers with hers.

In-flight Entertainment (Seth Rollins x Reader)
Hi! This one was requested by the amazingly wonderful @insearchofsunlight who requested some Reader x Seth Rollins in an airplane! I hope you enjoy and I hope it was worth the wait lovely!
The plane was already near full capacity by the time you got on board, most of the seats filled with regular people who barely paid any attention to you; you tried to look rather unremarkable, not wanting attention called to yourself until you were seated. It wasn’t that you didn’t love the fans, it was that you just wanted to at least have a moment of privacy before having to do it all again tomorrow at Raw. It was late at night anyway; no one was ready to pay attention. The only thing that was awful about it was that for as quiet as it was, you wanted to at least be surrounded by friends. Somewhere on the other side of the airport were Ruby, Liv, and Sarah, if they hadn’t taken off already, sitting back and having a great time.
Management had royally screwed up this time, though; you were on an entirely different flight. You would all arrive at the same venue, within a few hours of each other, but not together.
“At least first class isn’t so bad”, you muttered under your breath and made your way to your row. Your carry on was strapped tight as you looked in and saw another man in a grey hoodie and snapback staring at his phone. He had headphones on but he was sitting right in the first seat.
“‘Scuse me?” You tried, frowning at no response and giving up, gently tapping him on the --rather built-- shoulder.
He looked up, confused until he noticed you and took off the headphones. Immediately you recognized him; Seth Rollins. He said something and you had to pay attention again. “Hmm?”
He was faintly confused with a touch of amusement in his smile. “Do you want the window seat?”
“If you don’t mind.” It was an obvious yes on your part, and with some shifting, you made your way to the window seat and sat down contentedly. There wasn’t much of a view yet, just some of the other planes and the runway, but it was still relaxing. You had gotten so used to riding on a plane it was like a second nature, almost.
“You’re Y/N, right? From the Riott Squad?” He questioned and you looked over at him with a quick nod and smile. “Then… where’s the rest of you?” He asked as if expecting you the rest of you to pop out of nowhere. You were relatively new compared to some other members of the roster, and never really went apart from the other three… until this wonderful mess up, of course.
“Management screwed me over.” You explained, not annoyed at him but the higher-ups. “So… here I am.”
“So far it’s not looking so bad, right?” He grinned and you rolled your eyes, even as you felt a responding grin and smile.
“We haven’t even taken off, buddy. Wait a bit for a response.”
“Fair enough.” He conceded, teasing seeping into his tone as he put his headphones back on. You sighed and tried to relax back into your seat. It was going to be a long flight.
You almost made it through the flight, and everything had been going well up to then. There wasn’t any obnoxious noise, no one kicking your seat, and you even watched part of an in-flight movie. Seth was mostly quiet, but when you talked it was enjoyable. He was actually really funny, and he made you giggle -- which you would deny ever happening to anyone -- once. It was too good for real words. Which is why when it went wrong and a little cup of water slipped out of your hand and spilled all over you, you shouldn’t have been so surprised in hindsight.
Seth quickly looked over at the muffled expletive that forced its way from your mouth and almost winced. “Need some help?”
“Oh no, not me.” You grumbled, nearly throwing the cup away. “I’m fu- freaking peachy.” You tried to signal for the stewardess frantically for some napkins, anything to stop it from seeping into your lap. Seth moved from the aisle seat to the middle to see what he could help with.
“Sorry.” He took the few napkins, glaring that the stewardess didn’t have anymore as he handed them over.
“You don’t have to help, really.” Your cheeks turned red out of embarrassment. He shouldn’t have to deal with your mess up, and you told him so.
“And I wanna help. It’s not putting me out or anything; it’s not like I was doing anything important, y’know.” His tone was joking, but held a bit of sincerity as he cleaned up the seat and you tried to clean up your ruined shirt and the stain on your pants; it looked awful and you couldn’t even change out of it.
You felt a smile worm its way onto your face and looked at him. “Thanks, Seth. Um… mind if I move there next to you? I don’t want the back of my pants getting soaked too.
He smiled and you knew you had your answer.
“Hey, Y/N.” Seth’s voice was accompanied by the squeaky wheels of luggage following him and getting closer as you turned around from the gate leading out to where you knew the car was. He rubbed his palm on his jeans. “Mind if I tag along with you to the arena? Save the gas and the planet and all that with just one car instead of two. And I figured afterwards... maybe we could go grab a bite? I’ve been here before; I know some good restaurants.
You blinked for a second, trying to wrap your mind around this as you smiled widely. He had continued to be great company even after the accident, telling you even more embarrassing stories of his travels with the company and Dean and Roman. He had let you close to him, and though it had only been half an hour, you hadn’t felt more comfortable on a plane.
“I’d like that.”
Short and semi sweet, lol. I hope you enjoyed! if you did please let me know and check out my masterlist if you want to read more or have an idea/prompt! Have a great day! <3

Everybody Is Shayna-Sexual (Shayna Baszler x Reader)
Tumblr media
Anonymous Request: Shayna Baszler was cocky, confident, a woman who got whatever she wanted, when she wanted, WHOEVER she wanted when she wanted and at this moment, she wanted you.
What she didn’t expect was for you to change her life entirely.
Shayna Baszler, was confident, she was cocky, the woman strutting around backstage, demanding to be seen, which of course, she always was.
It seemed as of late, that Shayna’s newest conquest wasn’t a title at all, far from it.
“Hey.”
Your brows quirk as you turn towards Shayna, the woman smirking, her hands jammed in her leather jacket’s pockets.
“Hey.” You smile, swallowing hard when Shayna’s brown orbs rake down your front.
Your cheeks flush when the woman takes a step closer.
“I think it would be a shame for me not to mention how great you look tonight.” She smirks.
Your brows arch as the woman leans back against a nearby wall, eyeing you intently, her bottom lip trapped between her teeth.
Unbeknownst to you, a tech is headed your way, the man’s voice making you jump.
“Ms. Y/L/N, you’re on in five.”
Shayna sends him a glare, the man making a hasty escape moments after.
Shayna pushes herself off the wall, strutting toward you, the woman leaning in to whisper in your ear.
“Good luck, I’ll be watching your match very…” Shayna pauses her fingertips brushing your forearm, the woman smirking when she sees goosebumps sprouting on your arm.
“Very closely.” She finishes, the woman grinning as you dumbly nod.
You point over your shoulder.
“I should…” You nod. “Yeah…”
Shayna watches with a snort as you sprint in the direction of the ring, the Cage Fighter shaking her head.
                                                           ***
The second you step into the empty locker room, you’re guided back into a nearby wall, your eyes as wide as saucers when you see who it was that had put you in that position.
“Pretty good match.” Shayna smirks and you swallow hard.
“T-Th-Thanks.” You stammer The Queen of Spades smirk widening.
“Why are you so nervous around me?” She asks, smirk splitting into a grin when your cheeks darken.
“I-I-I'm not.” You stutter.
The air is suddenly knocked from your lungs when you feel Shayna’s lips brush your jaw.
“Doesn’t seem that way...” Shayna hums, her nose running along your jawline, bumping against your ear as she whispers. “In fact, you seem tense.”
You inhale sharply when Shayna’s lips part, the woman nipping at your ear lobe, her lips barely touching your flesh.
Shayna wraps her arms around you, grinning when you noticeably shutter.
“Maybe you’re not nervous, or tense... Maybe it’s something else?” She smirks, her eyes raking down your front.
You swallow hard, your heart pounding hard in your chest.
“Wh-What do you mean...?” You ask, watching as a cocky smirk stretches across Shayna’s face.
However, just as her lips part to speak, the door starts to creep open, giving Shayna the opportunity to make an escape, falling onto a nearby bench as you rest against the wall, your cheeks flushed, your disheveled state completely missed by Ruby Riott and Liv Morgan.
You close your eyes, attempting to take a deep breath, completely missing the way that Shayna eyes you, the woman smirking.
She had the effect on you that she’d been looking for.
Now, she just had to go in for the kill.
Though, the more she thought about it, the more she realized you weren’t anything like the other women she’d been with before, far from it in fact.
You were so different, that she didn’t think the relationship between the two of you would be ANYTHING like those before you, no, it was going to be something ENTIRELY different.
                                                           ***
Shayna realized her feelings for you were different when you were cornered by Nia Jax backstage, the things she was feeling far more than the lust she was used to.
Shayna makes her way hastily through the backstage area, following the sounds of shouting, that shouting enviably leading her to you, and by extension, Nia, Nia who currently has you pinned against a nearby wall.
Nia lets you go seconds later, considering she’s busy attempting to pry Shayna Baszler’s arms from around her throat, though it’s to no avail.
“Are you alright?” Shayna asks as she kneels down in front of you, Nia flat on the floor behind her, clutching her throat as she coughs.
“Ye-Yeah.” You swallow hard, fear written on your face.
Shayna snarls, helping you to your feet before she turns back towards Nia, the Samoan slowly moving to her feet.
Brown orbs widen when suddenly, Nia falls to the backstage floor courtesy of a super kick to the head from your boot.
Shayna turns towards you, the Cage Fighter smirking.
“Impressive.”
“Thanks.”
                                                           ***
The dynamic between the two of you changed drastically after that, Shayna Baszler was no longer just the flirty, intimidating woman she was backstage, no, she was significantly softer, the woman smiling more around you, that smile far from the cocky one she portrayed on TV.
Speak of the devil, a sweet covered Shayna Baszler flops down on a backstage crate beside you, the woman taking a deep breath.
The woman turns to you with a small smile, unaware that she has a bit of blood trailing down her chin from a split lip.
Shayna’s brows arch as you swipe her towel from around her neck, the woman’s cheeks flushing from more than exertion when you cup her cheek tenderly with one hand.
Brown orbs dart around your face as you stick your tongue out in concentration, delicately wiping blood from Shayna’s chin.
“At least this time it’s YOUR blood on your face.” You tease, receiving no reply from the Queen of Spades, who can't’ seem to find words.
You swallow hard, your eyes darting around the woman’s face as your thumb traces her bottom lip unconsciously.
A loud noise pulls the two of you apart, the two of you bashfully turning away from one another, cheeks flushing red.
You rub the back of your neck nervously, turning coyly towards her, your eyes locking with Shayna’s soft brown orbs.
The second your eyes lock your heart flutters in your chest.
Unbeknownst to you, Shayna’s does as well.
                                                           ***
It wasn’t much of a surprise when yet again Nia made her presence known, the woman storming down to the ring as you secured a win over Lacey Evans.
The match you’d just had was grueling, beating a former #1 contender for the Smackdown Women’s Championship was far from easy, and now you had an angry Samoan making her way down to the ring.
“Oh shit.”
                                                           ***
The next time Shayna sees you, it’s in the trainer’s room, the trainer nursing your split lip, busted nose and black and blue eye.
Shayna limps into the trainer’s room, nursing her own wounds as she makes her way towards you.
“I swear I’ll get her back for this.” She grimaces as she holds her ribs, brown orbs inspecting you closely, zeroing in on your swelling, bruised eye.
The woman lets out a snarl, turning to head towards the door, without a doubt to go pick a fight with Nia, but you stop her, catching her wrist.
“Stop, you’re worse off than I am, don’t go picking a fight when you’re injured.”
Shayna growls, pulling her wrist out of your hold.
“Don’t tell me what to do! You think I should just LET her hurt you and not do anything about it!?” She roars, your eyes widening at the complete look of ire on the woman’s face.
“Just-
“No Y/N.” She growls. “I won’t let her get away with it.”
You give her forearm a squeeze.
“Please, stay...”
Shayna takes a deep breath, turning towards you, your bottom lip jutting out in a pout tugging a her heart strings enough to get her to sit beside you on the trainer’s bed.
“Fine.”
                                                           ***
Shayna Baszler, was pissed.
You weren’t even looking at her, and you knew it, the woman growling every time you winced or grimaced as the trainer did his best to stitch a gash that cut across your eyebrow.
You let out a whine prompting Shayna to snarl.
“Be careful.” She growls at the trainer who nods nervously.
As the trainer works, you hear Shayna mumbling under her breath, unable to catch what she’s saying.
Even as angry as Shayna was, she didn’t leave your side, the woman sitting right beside you as your eyebrow was stitched up, the woman’s hand on your forearm when the syringe full of numbing solution pierces your skin.
The pain comes second, the feel of Shayna’s thumb running back and forth across your arm coming first.
Shayna frowns at the wrinkle in your brow, the needle causing you obvious pain.
“Easy.” Shayna snarls angrily at the trainer, the man swallowing hard.
“I’m doing my best Ms. Baszler.”
“Apparently your best isn’t-
Shayna goes silent when you grab her hand, giving it a squeeze, the Queen of Spades cheek’s flushing pink.
“It’s alright.” You whisper, closing your eyes as the numbing takes hold.
                                                           ***
Shayna remains silent for the remainder of the procedure, the woman watching intently as each stitch is made.
The woman remains silent as she drives the two of you to your hotel, the woman focused entirely on the road.
You fidget nervously in your seat, wondering what it was that had changed the dynamic between the two of you, the woman turning into the silent statue she was backstage when you weren’t around.
You eventually get to the hotel, the Cage Fighter helping you to your room before she takes her leave, giving you a single nod before she disappears behind the closed door.
You frown sadly, shuffling towards the bathroom.
“What did I do wrong?”
                                                           ***
Less than an hour passes before a hesitant knock sounds at your door, your brows furrowing as you shuffle to the locked door, tugging it open without even looking through the peephole.
Your eyes widen when you realize the person behind the door was Shayna Baszler. She waits until you step to the side, the woman slipping into the room, the woman still entirely silent.
The moment you turn around, your eyes widen, the crestfallen look on her face making you frown.
“What’s wrong?” You ask as you make your way towards her, the woman avoiding eye contact.
“I’m sorry I yelled at you in the trainer’s room... And I’m sorry I snapped at you...” She frowns. “I just...”
Shayna’s eyes widen when you throw your arms around her, the woman stiffening within your arms.
You’re about to pull back when Shayna’s arms slip around your middle, the woman giving you a gentle squeeze as she buries her nose in your neck.
“I wasn’t angry at you.” She whispers. “I just want to tear Nia’s head off.” She growls and you snicker.
“She isn’t worth it.”
Shayna sighs, her nose brushing your neck.
“But you are.”
Your eyes widen as you pull back, your cheeks flushed as your Y/E/C orbs dart around her face.
Shayna, much to your surprise, cups your cheeks, the woman scanning the recently stitched gash across your eyebrow.
Boldly, she tilts her head back to press a kiss to the marred flesh, your eyes widening and cheeks flushing the second her lips touch your flesh.
“I’m sorry I wasn’t there.” She frowns, your hands moving to cover hers.
“You had your own issues to deal with...” You interlace your fingers with hers, the woman eyes fluttering shut as she rests her forehead against yours.
“Still, I should’ve been there...”
Your eyes flutter open, your eyes darting around the woman’s face, her brown orbs hidden behind her closed eyelids.
It’s in that moment that you follow what your heart had been telling you all along, tilting your head back to press a kiss to Shayna’s lips.
Shayna’s eyes flash open, the woman stiffening, forgetting ENTIRELY that she isn’t reciprocating.
You pull back abruptly, your cheeks blood red.
“I-I-I-I'm sorry I-
Shayna cuts you off midsentence, with her lips, lips that are softer than you could’ve ever possibly imagined.
Shayna holds your waist in a way that contrasts her behavior immensely, her lips moving against yours in a tender and tantalizing dance that leaves you breathless.
The two of you part, but not before Shayna closes the distance between you again, kissing you so soft it feels as if her lips aren’t even touching yours.
Your eyes flutter open at roughly the same time, your Y/E/C orbs locking with Shayna’s soft brown orbs, eyes that sparkle with something you’d seen glimpses of before when looking into the woman’s eyes.
“I’ve been wanting to do that...”
“For a long time?” You finish, the woman grinning, her cheeks pink.
“Ye-Yeah.”
You smile grabbing Shayna by the front of her shirt and pulling her towards the bed.
“Come on, let’s get to bed, I know you’re hurting too.” You give her a tug, the woman rolling her eyes.
“I’m totally fi-OW!” Shayna winces when you give her a side a poke, the woman’s eyes narrowing.
“Fine. Fine.” She grumbles as you pull her to the bed, the two of you sliding under the covers.
You shuffle closer until your head makes contact with Shayna’s chest, the woman’s heart beating hard beneath your ear.
You roll on your side, wrapping your arms around her, the woman beaming as she slips an arm around you.
“I’m still tearing her head off next time I see her.” Shayna mumbles.
You roll your eyes with a laugh.
“Only if I get to help.”
Shayna shrugs as she runs her fingers through your hair.
“Maybe when I’m done with her.”
You scoff.
“Who says YOU get retribution first?”
Shayna smiles, watching as your eye lids flutter.
“How about the one who stays awake longest gets Nia first?” She smirks, the woman grinning when you growl.
“That isn’t fair...” You pout, yawning as Shayna’s nails dig into your scalp.
“Sleep Y/N...”
You huff.
“Fine, but I’ll get her second.” You yawn, your eyes fluttering shut.
Shayna looks down at your sleeping face for a moment, grinning as she tucks a loose strand of hair behind your ear.
“Of course, you will.”
Shayna watches you sleep with a smile, the woman turning her head to kiss your temple.
“Night Y/N.” She whispers, grinning when you sleepily reply.
“Night Shay.”
